Ange Foster
Iām a Melbourne/Naarm-based Mixed Media Artist, inspired by the seasons and cycles of nature, and the resilience of the human spirit. My work explores themes of feminism, social justice, and disability weaving together personal narratives with broader societal issues.
As a mature-age art school graduate and emerging artist, I use my art to challenge perspectives and spark conversations around family violence, homelessness, and bodily autonomy. For me, art is not just a practice but a means of storytelling and transformation.
With a strong connection to the seasons and cycles, I align my creative process with the ebb and flow of the natural world. My work is a testament to the belief that creativity can be a powerful tool for change and healing.
